Afterthoughts

In June last year when I just joined “Cyberfair project”, I felt strange with all the people and my heart is filled with questions. At the very start, we did the simple jobs like writing the diary and drawing the mind map. Overnight, the time to do those simple jobs is nearly 1 year ago. Now, we are making the webpage. A period of time later, the webpage will be completed!

During this period, what we have learned is the priceless knowledge, what we have held is the precious experience and what we have gained is the abundant memories.

It takes several Wednesday afternoons for us to make the interview for 5 times to experience the operation in digging the ditches and resource recycling vehicle. We also make use of morning self-study and lunch break to design the small goods questionnaire and hold the community achievement presentation. For this reason, we have known the bitterness of cleaning crew which is unknown to others and acquired lots of knowledge which is unknown to many people and cannot be found in the textbooks. This is the experience which many students in the same age groups have not experienced. During the process, we encountered many difficulties and had some disputes, but we solved these problems in the end. Thus, we have realized the importance of unity and it has left the unique memory in the elementary school life.

It is really very difficult for us to make webpages and we need to write the articles with the level of adults and all the materials in the articles come from the verbatim transcription after the interview. After each interview, we need to type the verbatim transcription having thousands of words. If we cannot complete the typing, we will continue the work at home. The same work is repeated again and again and we have to stare at the computer screen, which takes lots of time.

The teacher said that the modeling of verbatim transcription is the largest factor to affect the webpage making. Therefore, we have to do this job under great pressure and perceive the tiredness belonging to us.

However, compared with cleaning crew, this tiredness is not worth mentioning.

Through the learning during this period, we have gradually realized what cleaning crew’s body has endured. What they have seen and they have perceived is tiredness, which is several times of ours. Compared with their “tiredness”, our so-called “tiredness” appears insignificant. The original intention of webpage making is to hope that more and more attention can be paid to these heroes. But can the webpage making really help them? Can more attention be paid to them?

No one knows about it!
We have begun to do it, but it is far from enough. Compared with the cleaners keeping the street tidy, the students making the webpages seem to be small.

Tze-yi Tzeng

As we have made more and more interviews, we gradually want to take up the cudgel for cleaning crew and I will try my best to write what they want in the articles. But they are just articles and what can really change people must be people’s heart. We have done it, but as for cleaning crew, it is far from enough.

Jia Ouyang During the interview process, we have known more about the work of cleaning crew as well as their sadness which is unknown to others. It is hoped that our webpage can pass down the inner voice of cleaning crew, so that more and more people are willing to do their bits to the tidy environment.
I-chin Chen Every time I think of cleaning crew’s toil, I’d like to hurry up to make the webpages. Even if we can give a little help to them, we are also willing to do it. Winning award is secondary and the main purpose of webpage making is to help cleaning crew, which is also our original intention.
Pei-ju Liao After participating in Cyberfair project, I have gone through many trials and hardships with my classmates, completed many tasks and gained lots of knowledge about cleaning crew. As for me, it is a precious experience. It is hoped that the webpage made by us can make the people understand the importance of cleaning crew in the end.
Chia-yu Chang During the process of participating in Cyberfair project, I have learned many things related to cleaning crew as well as some methods to make the environment become better. But our strength is not enough and all the people need to work together to make our environment become better.
Jing-ting Chen It is not easy to do Cyberfair project, but we have acquired lots of precious knowledge over the several months and have also known the toil of Cleaning Squad. It is hoped that this webpage can make everyone learn lots of knowledge.
Ching-ya Hong It is hoped that the webpage made by us with great efforts can convey the concept of environmental protection to everyone’s inner heart. It is also hoped that more and more people can see those nameless heroes through our efforts and they are working for us silently.
Shun-kai Nien It is our biggest harvest to know the true thoughts of cleaning crew’s inner heart because they cannot be known from the textbooks. It is expected that the webpage laboriously completed by us can gain the good performance and it is also hoped that our efforts can influence more and more people to make our environment become better.
Tze-hsuan Tzeng All the things we have gone through in Cyberfair project are meaningful. Through the interviews with cleaning crew, we have known their toil and inner voice. I don’t know whether I can have such great memories after my graduation, so I decide to cherish every moment and work hard to write the touching articles.
