Members of the mobile team are responsible for temporary or emergency operations and sometimes they will support the work of other teams in Cleaning Squad. In addition to being related to the maintenance of clean environment, these work items are also very relevant to people's safety. For example, oil stain on the road, animal carcass on the road, lush branches and leaves.

The most difficult daily work of them is to clean up large furniture. The team members depart at 8:00 for the “trip of moving the furniture.” When people call Cleaning Squad for help, they have to provide the address of the large furniture and tell the switchboard personnel about the style and quantity of the large furniture. The switchboard personnel will coordinate the internal staff to arrange the time to receive it.

The cleaning crew must wear helmets, reflective vests, etc., for safety, and they also must prepare two special vehicles for furniture recovery (one is a truck, and the other one is a compacting vehicle) because of the large number of large furniture to be recovered. The compacting vehicle just like the large garbage truck, which can cut the broken furniture and then compact it. As for the truck, it can place the usable furniture fully and carefully and load it back to the Cleaning Squad's workplace.

When you make an appointment for the recovery of large furniture, please take it out at the agreed time, and do not take the furniture out too early, because the neighbors will also take out their furniture after seeing it, making the original 3 large-scale furniture in the appointment change into 10 pieces, and sometimes even bags of ordinary rubbish are stacked up.

During the Chinese New Year, people are happy to replace the old, the cleaning amount of furniture will increase. Whether they are sofa, bed frames, cabinets or spring bed, they are all heavy furniture! They will feel even heavier in rainy weather. In addition to “Strength”, the members of the mobile team must also have the "Repair" ability. They will repair those usable furniture and appliances and donate them to disadvantaged families in cooperation with the “Thrift Station” activity of the New Taipei City government.

There is a rule that all those who live on the first floor of the house, have to be responsible for maintaining the clean and tidy environment within 3 meters in front of it. However, people are really busy, so we can occasionally see the mobile team staff helping sweep the lanes in the alley with brooms.

In addition, due to some people are unable to cooperate with garbage trucks because they work late, or some people do not want to throw their garbage into the garbage truck in order to save money for special garbage bags, they will throw the rubbish furtively to the dirty place at night. In the next morning, the mobile team members have to clear the rubbish in the dirty place before half past eight, and return the beautiful city appearance back to the public during the day.

We are just pupils but we know that if we seek our own convenience and neglect the public spirit, it will cause great troubles to the mobile team staff. However, many adults do not know this. Is this the most puzzling question for mobile team staff?
