In order to learn more about Cleaning Squad's work and discover their hardship unknown to others, we must talk with them in person so as to get the most real and valuable first-hand data. We need to have a basic understanding of their work before the interview, as well as formulate suitable problems and have the ability to cope with strangers, so we have to spend a lot of time on planning. Here are some hard works we made before the interview, as well as the experience we have learned from them. Before visiting the Cleaning Squad, one of the most important and painstaking things is definitely the design of interview questions. Of course, the content of the questions should be closely connected with the theme of our web page: The four main axes of pain, tiredness, hope and laugh. After the design of the questions, we will amend them to be smoother. After many discussions, we will finally eliminate some unsuitable questions. After all the questions have been amended, we begin to simulate the interview questions with our classmates. The way we practice is to interview and answer with each other according to the interview script, and our classmates act as the members of the Cleaning Squad. During practice, we should pay attention to the volume and clear pronunciation, so as to allow the other side to hear clearly the question we want to ask. There are 7 teams in the Cleaning Squad. Due to the limited time, we will be divided into three groups to interview them at the same time. In fact, our classmates would like to personally interview each team, so that they can really understand the feelings of the Cleaning Squad. However, we will record sound throughout the interview, so we are able to know about the work of various teams in the Cleaning Squad as we listen to the recordings. Preparation before the interview is always the most important. As long as the preparations are well done, problems will not come out during the actual interviews. Although this part is the most difficult one, it will come out with good results through hard works. I believe these interview experiences will be of great help to our future. |
Chia-yu Chang | Before our visit, we had already interviewed the leader of the environmental volunteers in our school. Therefore, everyone progresses very fast at the beginning of preparing the interview questions. However, in the process of formulating the interview questions, the questions everyone wants to ask are a bit different. Therefore, our group decide that each of us can ask three questions, so that everyone can hear the detailed explanation by the cleaning crew on the questions they want to ask. In order to let us think more about questions in different aspects, the teachers also give us links to some videos so that people without clue can have some directions. |
Shun-kai Nien | Before visiting the cleaning crew, we need to get an overview about the work of each team in the Cleaning Squad first. In order to give us some inspiration, teachers give us some related videos about Cleaning Squad’s work to watch before our interviews, so that we can get the preliminary understanding about them. We hope we can make the interview very smooth with our efforts and the result of the interview will meet our expectations. |
I-chin Chen | The first thing before each visit to the Cleaning Squad is definitely the design of questions. This part is the toughest part in our overall preparing process because we need to transform our questions into words. After designing the questionnaire, we just need to amend the questions. After all the questions have been amended, we begin to practice asking questions with our classmates. The way we practice is to interview each other according to the interview script, and our classmates act as the members of the Cleaning Squad. We will also add our feelings. |
