The Sewing Workshops in Alleys

The commonly seen garment machines and equipment are JUKI, Brothers, Siura, Only and Shinling ACCOR, which have their respective advantage in terms of needle lockstitch machine, overlock machine and electronic bar tacks etc.. Generally speaking, companies specially operating sewing machines sell sewing machines for both family and industrial use. By segmentation, they also include leathery and other special materials or thick cloth sewing machines. Besides, the cutting and ironing equipment used by garment are included in the selling items.

• Overlock machine:
  In this Cyberfair project, the workshops not only use the industrial sewing machine to produce garment, but also the less commonly seen overlock machine, which is a kind of sewing machine and mainly used for cut verge of cloth, i.e. twine the cloth that has been folded for 2 or 3 times through base line, in order to avoid yarn missing from the verge of cloth, fix with the upper line and manufacture verge of cloth. The overlock machine could make nice verge of cloth, make and sew flexibly knitted fabric, realize simultaneous operation and speedy sewing for cloth verge fixing and seaming, or even sew the cloth difficult for ordinary sewing machines.

Overlock machine for industrial use: As the overlock machine can sew cloth with diverse colors and patterns, threads of different colors could be used to overlap.
