I would do everything I can to help him. As AIDS could not be spread in normal contact, I would make friends with him and play with him, making him happy.

My opinion:
I knew nothing about AIDS before I read the book. Now I know that it is a incurable disease. However, we could keep ourselves away from it if we don’t take drugs.

Q1: Do you like the end of the story? Why? If you don’t like it, tell us about your end.
I like the end of the story. When Mike arrived at the island, he found an old man, Jian-jie, and many animals. He lived with the old man and has had many adventures together. Finally when Mike’s parents came to rescue Mike, Jian-jie refused to leave.

Q2: What impresses you the most?
What impresses the most is the chapter The Murderer Comes. One day a boat carried hunters to the island. When they left, Mike was so sad to find that two apes were killed.

My opinion:
I think the writer works so hard to produce such a great book. I learn a lot from the book. I hope that people would be as kind and persistent as the characters in the book to make the world better.

Q1: Why Qian Ning could turn the headstrong princess into a considerate girl?
Because Qian Ning believes, if the princess continues her selfishness, she won’t make any friends. So he trains the princess to be gentle and considerate.

Q2: The parents’ education on their children could be divided into three types, which are authoritative, democratic and indulging. In your opinion, which type do you prefer?
I hope my parents could treat me in the democratic way. Because strictness would bring about too much limitation and indulgence would spoil the child. So I think the parents should punish the child when he do something wrong and reward him when he do something right.

After reading this book, I realize that parents’ education could affect our attitudes toward lives. Right education could make us sensible. The king and queen in this book indulged the princess and make her selfish. But she is changed to become a gentle and considerate girl by Qian Ning
