Laughter-filled bookstore---
Located in a peaceful street of Luchou, A-fu’s bookstore was so unremarkable for its appearance that many customers had to call to find it. Various children books were exhibited in a place of about 30 square meters, meeting the needs of varied ages. It is remarkable that there was a bookshelf dedicated to painting books in English and Japanese edition. The stock of more than one thousand books could match Chengpin Bookstore.
What impresses you the most when you visit A-fu’s Bookstore is not the giant volume, but rather the happiness and joy you would feel. You will see mothers sitting with their children and reading painting books, children sitting on the ground and allowing their imagination to fly with the books. Some even eat snacks while reading. It is more like a living room in a family house.

The bookstore is always filled with children’s laughter

To promote reading and lower the cost of reading, A-fu has been carrying out his 5% principle: purchase books at 30% discount and sell them at 25% discount. The profit of 5% is barely enough to pay for the rent, and part of electricity & water bills. However, out of worry that the bookstore could not be maintained in that way for long term, some people has demanded to establish a membership system, offering members 25% discount and non-members 20% discount. Being forced by customers to raise prices is a sound proof for the popularity of the bookstore among local people.
