Teacher Mei-tzu Li Hello! I'm Mei-tzu Li. After I transferred from the Department of Society to the Department of Information, I took charge of this Cyberfair project, a heavy responsibility. The reason why I wanted to accept the challenge was because I wanted to continue the topic of humanistic care and explore alternative ways of learning by stepping out of campus. Through this Cyberfair project, students could experience different ways of learning. For me, I realized the importance of reinterpretation, partnership, and mutual respect in the process of knowledge acquisition. With the far-reaching support of information technology, we conducted field surveys in our hometown so as to make more people aware of its features and beauty, which was the truth of Cyberfair. I led the kids to learn while doing, which provoked our enthusiasm and new ways of thinking. And flipped teaching started! |

Teacher Chi-hung Yu Hello, everyone. I'm Chi-hung Yu, a teacher of information in Lu Jiang Elementary School. I was both nervous and excited to participate in 2016 Cyberfair. I was nervous as it was my first time to join the competition and did not know whether we could have a good performance, while I was excited to introduce "Soup Noodle", a authentic and traditional cuisine in Luzhou to more people by this competition. Thus, regardless of the outcome, I hope that my team and I can enjoy the bitterness and sweetness of the process. |

Teacher Yao-yen Yang This was my first time to participate in Cyberfair. At the beginning, I had no idea of where to start. Thank for the great help of Chih-hsien, Chi-hung, and Mei-tzu who made me better understand the purpose and objective of the competition. The processing of guiding the students was also a way of learning for myself. During our visits and interviews, I saw the silent devotion of many to traditional culture. I admired their perseverance and enthusiasm. I hope that, through our publicity, we can arouse more Luzhou people's attention and care to this aspect. |

Yi-hsueh Li Hello, everyone! My name is Yi-hsueh Li. I'm 11 years old. I was born in 2004. I am a member of 2016 Cyberfair. I participated in this Cyberfair under the encouragement of my teacher. I am fond of good food, so Soup Noodle famous in Luzhou is one of my favorites. For the topic of "Soup Noodle", my teachers, schoolmates, and I visited many Soup Noodle shops to deepen our understanding of the unique taste of our hometown. During this project, I saw the coming decline of the traditional culture, which made me more eager to promote Soup Noodle. The government and civil societies wanted to preserve the culture, so they took some actions, such as Soup Noodle Carnival (new name: Deity Culture Festival). In addition, I also learned to look at it with respect and tolerance. In the early days, Soup Noodle was a very famous delicacy. At the mention of Luzhou, people will think of Soup Noodle. I hope that Soup Noodle can maintain its prosperity in the early days and become a famous delicacy in Taiwan and even the world. And I hope it become a delicacy that one will never miss when he/she visits Taiwan so that Soup Noodle can be carried forward internationally! |

Ya-ting Tsao Hello, everyone! My name is Ya-ting Tsao. I'm a busy sixth grade primary school student. My interests are dancing and playing the piano. Don't you think that I am a gentle, elegant, and temperament girl. I can be stronger than boys sometimes. My specialty is...is also dancing. I can dance with any music. My other specialty is about 3C products. I know all the details of mobiles. I get along with everyone, boys and girls, in my class, so I have a good impression of "school". I am a member of Dance Club and Service Team of Lu Jiang Elementary School. Plus the Cyberfair project, I could not stay in the classroom during morning self-study period. I was exhausted every day, but I liked the way of living. I liked to walk around rather than sitting. In fact, this was not my first time to participate in Cyberfair. I participated in the previous session. And our team won the First Prize in Taiwan and the Second Prize globally. I was greatly boosted and wanted to try again. It was inevitably to encounter some difficulties during a Cyberfair project, such as time management. Every day I needed to put aside some time to print reports, make interviews with my partners, and so on. Sometimes, I did not even have a minute. My head was spinning as I needed to do this and that. How to improve it? Stay calm and finish all the tasks before play. But there were many benefits of participating in a Cyberfair project. For example, I could better understand local culture and specialty. Sometimes I might have unexpected answers. Besides, it really trained my typing speed. After joining two sessions of Cyberfair, I have doubled or even tripled my typing speed at the fourth grade. You could image how slowly I typed then. I am very confident about the Cyberfair project. With the unremitting efforts of every member, I believe we will have good results. In addition, I'd like to thank my teachers for their patient and careful guidance. Let's march toward Platinum Award! |

Pei-yi Lu Hello, everyone! I'm Pei-yi Lu. I am extraverted. At first, "Cyberfair" sounded very strange to me. After participating in it, I understood its true meaning. I learned a lot through the several interviews. Till now, I knew the difficulty of the Cyberfair project. It was common that we needed to gather together in the morning or during noon breaks, so we could not have a rest in the classroom. Sometimes, I needed to sacrifice my holiday to interview people related to Soup Noodle. Even so, I still stuck to it because I could not give up halfway! Otherwise, the previous devotion was in vain. While doing the Cyberfair project, we met some difficulties, but together with my teachers and schoolmates, I solved them all, which made me work harder. |

Yi-kuan Yeh Hello, everyone! My name is Yi-kuan Yeh. I am a sixth grade student. I like playing basketball. I am no different from other primary school students. After school, I would go to a day care center to finish my homework and then go home. But one thing I am different was that I spent my noon breaks in working. Why? When I was at the third grade, I heard that my senior schoolmates had achieved good results at "Cyberfair", so I wanted to have a try. Of course, I encountered some difficulties like other people. I had many journals not written yet. But later, the words of my teacher awoke me. "Some write many journals which are not necessarily good. It'd better if you write just three but with utmost efforts." These words seemed to change me into different person. Since then, I worked hard to keep journals. |

Chiao-hsun Cheng Hello, everyone! I'm Chiao-hsun Cheng. I'm Aquarius. I like reading. Though my mother said that novels had nothing to do with my academic performance, I'd read a few pages during my free time. It was Pei-yi Lu, one of my classmates, who asked me to participate in Cyberfair so that I did not need to read books in the room and could understand more about Taiwan. I agreed without the agreement of my parents. Our topic was Soup Noodle. We needed to visit noodle shops and wrote many journals. But I never regret about the participation, because the Cyberfair could make you understand more about the place you live and Soup Noodle with my schoolmates through visits. Though difficult, I stuck to it in the end. |
