Jhunshan Market – Jhunshan Theatre

    Jhunshan Market got its name for lying by Jhunshan Road, it is a private market and owned by Mr. Wen-bing Li. Mr. Li established Jhunshan Theatre and established nowaday Jhunshan Market at the same time in around 1968. 
    In the early years, there were not much entertainment, Jhunshan Theatre played an important role and it's the precious memory of many people, afterwards, due to videotapes rose, the theater declined gradually, and it had no choice but to end business at last.

     Luchou lies in traffic main artery, so Jhunshan Market attrated steams of people in the early days when residents of Wugu, Bali, Hsinchuang came here to buy food, clothing and commodities. Vehicles cannot enter this market though the road is four meters wide, because there are too many people come here to buy food and goods. If someone enters the market by bike, he will be unable to sustain others' expression of eyes, even some people will blame him for being not sensible.

Prospect

Jhunshan Theatre was formerly the common memory of Luchou's People, the citizens expect the folk to cooperate with the government to build the future of Jhunshan Theatre and traditional market. The "Future" certainly not refer to reforming the theatre, but changing the theatre and traditional market into sightseeing spots to increase hinterlands of image trading area and elevate Luchou's level of culture.
